Vidtel Video Phone Vlog Review and Special Discount Code

vidtel1

Oh, Happy Day!  There’s a brand new Video Phone company taking the Nation by storm and not only did I get to do a Vlog Review with the Co-Owner of the Company, but they’re offering all my wonderful readers a Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) Free special!  Click Here for more info on that!

The Following is my Flip Video Review of the Vidtel Video Phone Service.  I had a chance to speak with Mariette Wharton, co-founder of Vidtel and mom of 2 boys, aged 8 and 5 about the product and what value it brings to families.

I’d like to say on the record that after conducting this review and trying this service out, I am officially switching from my current carrier to Vidtel.  Mariette brought up very valid points on choosing her Video service over an Internet messaging Service like Skype because although a lot of our generation has computer knowledge and access, our Parents and Grandparents don’t and using Vidtel is as simple as picking up a phone and dialing-because that’s all it is!

Mariette also brought up some good points on protecting our children from the dangers of the Internet.  With Vidtel, your child can easily pick up the phone and choose a pre-set number to call his favorite Aunt or friend without you having to worry about any of the Internet messaging Spammers getting in the way.

For a detailed interview with Co-Creator and Husband, Scott Wharton, you can head on over to ZDnet to read more about this company.

That phone really did make it easy for the boys to talk to your mom. There was no call ahead to tell her to get on Skype, and no need to adjust the sound. Jake just hit the dial button from the built in address book, and away we went. I’m very impressed. The cost is exactly what we are paying now, and it has the same features and then there’s the addition of video. This is a no-brainer…

I’ve seen it and tried it. Superb! Finally a simple video phone and service priced very reasonably that actually works! Delightful. My daughter in Australia will soon have one and I can see her daily without a 15 hour flight. And she can see the new baby her sister will be delievering next month!

  • That is a very cool phone and would also make a great gift idea for Dads and Moms. Do you remember the video phones on the Jetson’s? Maybe we are finally ready for this technology.
