Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport (I’m Funny On This One)

Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport Liquid Laundry Detergent

If any of you have read me before, you’ve probably read some of my reviews I’ve written for various Tide products and I’ve even had some giveaways for my wonderful readers (that would be you, since you are currently reading this). You’d also have noticed that Tide is the only product my family will use to keep our clothes clean.

Well Tide has just launched a new product, Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport Liquid Laundry Detergent, and I have to say it has become a family favorite. It really has.First of all, I’m one of the Co-Founders of The Wii Mommies website, where we have formed a wonderful community of individuals (it’s not just for mom’s anymore!  We have dad’s and lots of people who have yet to have kids!) who are looking to get fit and healthy through virtual fitness.

If you’re curious about virtual fitness, it’s simply the new term that basically means “I work out inside my house on my Wii”. Since May of 2008, I’ve lost almost 100 pounds using the Wii and in the process have gotten STINKY.

My closet has slowly become filled with nothing but workout gear.  Yoga pants, workout shirts, shorts – I never in my life thought I’d have a closet full of workout clothes, but I have them and I use them and yep, this girl works up a sweat.

It’s also been pointed out to me that I *might* want to remember deodorant before working out.  I work from home, so I have to admit, slapping on some deodorant isn’t exactly at the top of my list (although I’ve been told it should be) and as my day progresses, I work up a sweat not only chasing my five and two year old kids around, but I break a sweat working out on my Wii.

Hence the stink.  My poor clothes.  Some things you can get away with wearing two days in a row.  My workout clothes?  Yeah…not so much.  Those puppies need to go to the washing machine STAT.

Beyond the stink my clothes bring in, I also throw in the stink my two boys manage to absorb into their clothes during the day. They run around crazy and we climb ladders and jump over couches  By the end of the day we’re all covered in dirt, food an stink.

In comes Tide plus Febreze Freshness Sport Liquid Laundry Detergent.

(Pause to go into my laundry room and breathe it all in.)

You know your detergent  has power when it not only freshens and cleans your clothes, but it makes your entire laundry room and surrounding areas smell fantastic.  I have three favorite smells – lilacs, the smell of morning when the sun has just come up and the dew is on the grass (I only smell it if I’m up all night, I refuse to wake up before 8AM) and the smell of fresh laundry.  Have you ever been outside and you suddenly smell that laundry freshness coming from someone’s home?  Wow, if I was near a lilac bush at dawn while someone was doing laundry, I’d be in heaven.

(Pause to think about how to put myself in that situation.  I think I could pull that off at my mom’s house.)

Okay, I’m blabbing. Tide can give you the specs better than I can so let me tell you what they have to say -

Tide plus Febreze Freshness SPORT is the #1 sports detergent for stain removal. Plus, it’s specially formulated to eliminate odors.
