Momspective Goes Green Giveaway!

untitled-1-copy

Over the next few weeks, the Cool Mom Guide is Going Green and will be reviewing environmentally friendly products for both baby and mom!

Starting today, I’d like to announce the Cool Mom Guide Goes Green Giveaway, sponsored by ecostore USA!  One lucky winner will receive the entire Baby Care line, including Baby Wash, Massage Oil, Moisturizer, Nappy Balm, Shampoo, Sleepytime Bath and Soap!

About ecostore USA-

The team at ecostore USA loves making a difference in people’s lives. ecostore USA does not compromise on performance, so customers can be assured of the efficacy of the products – they truly work. We offer more than 100 products, each one meeting the most stringent environmental and sustainability standards. The guiding principle of every formulation is and will always be that the end product must not only be good for the user, but good for the planet.

Ecostore USA knows that it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products, but we’ve found a way around this by safely super-concentrating each formulation. This means that a little really does go a long, long way. The result is saving money by significantly cutting down on cost per use.

Check back daily for a different review from the Cool Mom Guide Goes Green series.  Today’s review is of the Baby Shampoo, and I’ve done a great Video Review to show how great it is on my 9 month old baby! (more…)

The Princess Bride Video Game

key_art

Yep, you read that right-there is a PRINCESS BRIDE VIDEO GAME!

When I was given the opportunity to review this game I practically jumped through my email to the lovely person on the other side offering it to hug her.  This is one of my all-time favorite movies and the fact that it’s back in a game (rated E for Everyone) warms my heart.

There are some movies that should never be forgotten and watched by every generation.  By creating The Princess Bride Video Game, the tech-savvy kids of today are gaining a new interest in watching the movie and their parents (ME!) get to take part in playing as well. (more…)

Made Up Memories

If anyone has ever seen my button, you’d see that I used a picture I took of my boys at the zoo.  Jake stuck his face I the one hole and Ryan help Josh up to the other while I snapped the picture.

Well, I came across a web site this morning called Made Up Memories where you can choose a storyline and upload a picture of your child’s (or anyone else’s) face.  It has you adjust the picture to fit in the allotted area by scaling it up or down and rotating it and then it asks for the individuals name.

Once you’ve finished, you simply hit enter and wait a moment and you get a great story that you helped make!  You can choose from a princess story for little girls (but I’m thinking about putting my brother’s face in there he he), a non-stop action comic strip about a super hero for little boys and a very funny spoof about holiday “it” toys like Tickle Me Elmo and Furby.

After you watch the movie, you have the option of saving it or emailing it to friends and family.  I can’t stop creating stuff.  I have a hilarious picture of Jacob from a few weeks ago where he decided to bathe in swim goggles and I put that into the spoof on toys and just about peed my pants.

My special, special boy

My special, special boy

When the movie is done, you have the option of sending it to anyone you want or you can save it to your desktop if you register an account with Memeo Share, the easy way to share photos, videos and more with friends for free.  I’ve made 3 movies and Jake keeps asking me to replay them for him over and over.

If you’re looking for a good laugh and a wonderful video memory to share, check it out.  It’s free and people love it.  I’ve already sent it out to some people and got ‘how did you do that’ replies back!
