Hot Wheels Color Shifters

Hot Wheels Color Shifters

I have two very stinky, VERY active little boys and they love cars.  All kinds of cars.  Big ones, little ones, LOUD ones, you name it.  When Hot Wheels asked if I’d like to check out the new Hot Wheels Color Shifters, I couldn’t pass it up.  These cool cars go from street car to race car instantly by putting them in hot or cold water.

The package has a “simulation” pull out tab that happened to keep my one year old occupied for a solid twenty minutes and even though this product is recommended for ages 3 and up, the kid just loves hot wheels.

My four year old plays with them every single day.  It’s gotten to where Jake can’t wait to get in his bath each night, because we have the warm bath water and give him a cup of ice water to play with.  It keeps the potential splashy mess a kid might make in the tub.

I also like it because that means I get to put them to bed a little earlier, he he he.  Jake begs me for a bath and knows it’s right to bed after, so who am I to argue if he wants to get on in the tub a little early to play with his cars?

I took a video of the boys opening the package and my older child, Jake, excitedly tells me what the cars are about.  This is real life here, so you get it complete with brothers whining and fighting.  Luckily, my kids are adorable so it’s tolerable.  You can see they’re super excited about the product!

Hot Wheels Color Shifters retail from $4.99 and up.  You can get them in sets and even get cool blasters so your kids can have hours of fun racing play.  Hot Wheels are a timeless toy and you can never go wrong getting them for a child!
