So What Do I Think Of EA SPORTS Active More Workouts?

ea sports active more workoutsI think that if you’re really looking to make a change to your life that will get you moving, in shape and constantly motivated to do better, you’ve found it with EA SPORTS Active More Workouts.

Virtual Fitness isn’t just a trend, it’s a way of life for a lot of us.  I personally don’t have the time or resources to go to a gym outside of my home and certainly can’t buy expensive equipment that would just gather dust anyway.  I turned to the Wii to help me with my health and in the past year have lost over 70 pounds.

I loved the first release of EA SPORTS Active because it was the first of it’s kind.  It’s a personal trainer in a box.  It offered up one and two player options and had a built-in 30 day challenge that I used to lose seven pounds in just a month!

Now EA SPORTS has come out with their second installment of workouts with EA SPORTS Active’s More Workouts and I love this more than anything else in the world right now.  Except my kids.  I love them tons.  They just don’t make me as skinny as this product does.

My favorite parts of this new product include the seaside background (the original game would show the occasional Sunflower and I have a phobia about those), a more focused ab routine and lots more fun activities to get me in shape.

I started the amped up six week challenge already and within just a few hours I could feel the workout.  I want to do the challenge with a friend, so instead of going into the six week challenge section, I went into the “Workout With A Friend” and in the customized workouts section, it has every day and level of the six week challenge broken down, so I can still get that same workout and have company while I do it!

I also appreciate the fact that I can modify the workout before I use it.  My first day, I went right into it without skipping a single activity but that night, my knees were paying for it.  I have super tiny wrists, knees and ankles and for some reason, squats hate me.  Since EA SPORTS Active More Workouts lets you see what you’ll be doing before you start your workout, I was able to opt out of those squats before my routine started.

This six week challenge couldn’t have come at a better time.  After my operation and recovery, I gained eight pounds and was terrified of what would happen around the holidays.  I enjoyed working out with EA SPORTS Active’s More Workouts so much that I actually look forward to my session every afternoon.  I don’t feel so guilty indulging this holiday season, because I know that the time I spend burning off the calories will fly by since I can work out at home with a friend (or my kids) right next to me.

If you want to track my progress on how my six week challenge is going, be sure to check out my The Wii Mommies website and community.  I’ll be posting weekly updates every Friday on my regular blog, Momspective and will also be talking about it on The Wii Mommies Blog Talk Radio Show every Friday at 1PM EST!
