Any’tizers® QuesaDippers™ snacks

I’m not quite sure why I decided to write this in the morning, considering I had them for dinner last night.  Ever since Tyson asked if I’d like to review their newest product Any’tizers® QuesaDippers™ snacks, I’ve had quesadilla’s on my mind.  I’ve been crazy busy with the kids being out of school and the holidays approaching quickly but I finally gave in, went to the grocery store and absolutely had to try them out.

*DROOL*

I had them last night and I’m already wanting more this morning.  It’s only 10:00.  I’m just waiting until noon so I can make them again.

I’m pretty much addicted to the entire anytizers line of foods, you can find them all on their super cool Facebook page that’s brand spankin’ new and is absolutely “Liked” by me and because you all know how awesome I am, you should like them too.  That would make me smile. (more…)

CLOSED – For healthy back-to-school lunches, meet Clif Kid snacks!

Clif Kid snacks

I’ve always been a fan of Clif Kid snacks.  I’m a hard-core anti-candy mom.  I can’t help it.  It’s not because sugar amps my kids up, it’s because my oldest son gets a feeling of entitlement when he scores some candy.  I keep it out of my house for two reasons.  For one, I’ll eat it.  I love chocolate.  Passionately.  Secondly, my kids just don’t do well with garbage.

Just the other day we were at a picnic where you could make your own sundae’s.  Ooh….ahh…I was just as bad as they were and we all paid the price.  Jacob was up in the middle of the night crying because his tummy hurt so bad.

When he was younger and had a miserable cold, he refused to eat anything so out of guilt I went to the store to see what I could get him.  I bought drinks to keep him hydrated, meds to help him and I thought maybe I could get one of those diet bars that had a candy flavor and some kind of nutrition so I at least knew he was getting something in him. Home Farming – Join The Movement With Triscuit & WIN! CLOSED

Home Farming - Join The Movement With Triscuit

I don’t eat crackers, I’m not into chips and I have a limited cookie selection that I enjoy.  There is only one brand I can’t resist.  Triscuit.

My mother LOVES Triscuit.  My whole life, there’s always been a box around.  We like to put pepperoni on them and munch away.  If you want to have an explosion of awesome taste, take the Baked Whole Grain Wheat Rosemary & Olive Oil one and pair that with pepperoni.  *DROOL*

I can seriously sit down and have that for dinner and be happy.  It’s a hit at parties.  It’s what I buy for me and hide with the few other things I want people to keep their hands off of.

Recently, I was contacted by Triscuit to talk to all of you about the farming movement.  I was sent two boxes of Triscuits and a $20 visa gift card to give away to one of my readers.  Well, I’m giving the gift card away.  I already ate the Triscuits. (more…)

Domino Sugar & Share our Strength’s® Great American Bake Sale to help fight childhood hunger

For the third year in a row, Domino Sugar is the presenting sponsor for Share our Strength’s® Great American Bake Sale to help fight childhood hunger. The Great American Bake Sale raises money to fight childhood hunger across the U.S. by encouraging individuals, families, organizations and schools to hold bake sales and donate the profits to help Share our Strength provide millions of meals and snacks to America’s children.

As part of this campaign, Domino provided me with a $25 gift card to buy ingredients so I can buy the ingredients I needed to bake up some delicious goodies to have at our neighborhood bake sale and since it’s just too hot to have one here in South Carolina (believe me, we tried – we had the whole thing planned out and it was so hot we couldn’t have it), I’m giving away the gift card to one of my readers so they can host a bake sale of their own! Shakeology – Nutrition Simplified

Over the past few months I’ve just not been myself. Shoot, over the past year I don’t even know who I was. I fell ill and an operation led to an even stronger illness and over time and an improper balance of medications, more medical health issues flew my way and affected me not only physically but mentally.

About a month ago, I was under the impression that I would undergo an operation that would prevent me from eating solid foods. I am a big fan of social networking and can be found on both Facebook and Twitter and I was asking for advice on where I could find some liquid nutrition, since I already had the items required for hydration under control when I was contacted by a Facebook friend, Dana, owner of the blog Feeling Fit With Dana and also an an independent beachbody coach, that features Shakeology, a nutritional liquid shake company that provides you not only with nutrition but is quite filling as well.

Grateful that Dana offered me a sample to try just for myself, I offered to review the product if she wouldn’t mind providing me a few more to try out. Hey, a gal’s gotta eat.
