Win A One Year Supply Of Tide Washing Machine Cleaner! CLOSED

Okay, I have something to confess.  When Tide contacted me about Tide Washing Machine Cleaner, my first thought was “Yay!  Awesome treat for my readers!” and my second was “I thought only MY washing machine stank!”.

I’m terrible about doing laundry.  Come on, admit it.  Some of you are like me and run your wash and then completely forget  to put it in the dryer.  Yeah.  I’ve done that.  For like three days.

Don’t you go giving me that whatever negative thing you’re giving me.  We get BUSY.  We forget.  I typically do everything in my power to have someone else do my laundry for me.

I live in a testosterone filled house.  Lids are left up, clothing is left in random places throughout the house and beds are never made.  What I do is put the lid down with my foot because I’m a psycho about that, pick the clothes off the floor and throw them in the washing machine (if I intend to wash them or not) and completely ignore the beds, because I’m just as bad.

Then I open my washer.  Ew.  You know that smell.  Mildew and nasty.  You keep your machines hidden away in the basement or laundry room for a reason.  Clothes STINK.  Stinky clothes will lead to stinky washing machines.

Well, not anymore!  Tide has just come out with the Tide Washing Machine Cleaner that’s been designed to save us from stinky machines!  Here’s some info from the company, because they say it SO much better than I ever could. (more…)

Scrapblog Review and SHORT Giveaway CLOSED

scrapblog

Years back, when I had my first son, I decided to try Scrapbooking.  I bought every decorative sticker, border and paper I could find and paid a fortune printing out all the digital photos I took.  As my newborn got older, I had less time to scrapbook and by baby number two, I was done completely.

I hated the fact that I didn’t have the drive to create scrapbooks, because I always found them to be a wonderful gift to my parents around the holidays.

Then I found Scrapblog.

Scrapblog is free and signup is quick and easy. Creating an account grants you access to a ton of cool features!

  • Save, publish, and share your scrapblogs
  • Leave comments on other’s scrablogs
  • Create your own personal profile to display all your creations
  • Bookmark your favorite scrapblogs and view them at any time
  • Add other scrapbloggers to your friends list and find them easily

After registering with the site, I managed to make a great Scrapblog Photo Book in just minutes.  It’s literally all done in three easy steps.   After registering, I clicked on the “Start Creating” button and was taken to the area where your Scrapblog book can be created.  You have a few choices, you can start with a blank page and Build your own scrapblog from the ground up, start with a theme that is predesigned scrapblogs from our designers or use the option I went for and select to stat with Quick Mixx, which allows you to pick a kit and add your photos and Quick Mixx will layout all the pages for you. Clarisonic Mia Review and Limited Edition Giveaway! CLOSED

MIA-back-group-final-warm lo resI hate my skin.  I hate it.  I’ve always had oily skin, which my mother tells me will greatly benefit me when I’m older, because I’ll get fewer wrinkles but I am so self conscious about the way I look that I wouldn’t ever let anyone (friends, boyfriends, husbands, etc lol…) touch my face.

A little while back, I had the opportunity to review the Clarisonic Plus Skin Care System & Spot Therapy Kit which was created by the primary inventor of the famous Sonicare toothbrush.  The Therapy Kit is pure heaven.  You can check out that review here.

If you read me often (or at all, which you must since you’re seeing this), you may know I travel constantly.  I’m either at a conference or headed back up North to visit my family and it’s a little hard to bring the kit along with me.  The kit is for the face and body, so I keep it on the charger in my bathroom and use it when I want to give myself the extra lovin’ I deserve in the bath or shower.

Lucky for me, the good folks at Clarisonic noticed the amount I travel and asked if I’d like to try out the Mia.  Here’s a product overview-

Make a “skinvestment” for the New Year with the new stocking-sized MIA.  Well suited for travel or everyday use, Clarisonic is offering free personalization and free gift ($65 value) with purchase if you order through Clarisonic.com.

Lightweight and compact, Mia gently and effectively cleanses your face at home or on the go. Mia is perfect for wherever life takes you – at the gym or while traveling. The one-button, one-speed, one-minute Mia offers quick results that complement any skin care ritual leaving skin looking beautifully healthy.

Mia’s unique compact pLink™ power link charger magnetically attaches to the handle and allows for a full 20 minutes of use.  The rechargeable brush is completely waterproof, making it perfect for use in the tub or shower.  Brush heads are interchangeable with other Clarisonic skin cleansing models. You can make Mia your own by imprinting the handle with your name or personalized message at Clarisonic.com.

This little cleanser is fantastic!  I can pack it in my bag and go and I find myself using it quite a bit lately, especially since my hysterectomy has made my skin worse.

Enough about me, it’s time to treat YOU!  Clarisonic wants to pamper YOU!  They are offering one lucky reader a Limited Edition Clarisonic! Continue Reading For More On The Clarisonic Mia

Giveaway – Rhino Toys! CLOSED

toymakers

Sometimes it’s tough having kids three years apart.  With a 4 1/2 year old and an 18 month old, finding the right toys for them to share and play with can be difficult.  Some of the toys are too fragile for my toddler, while other toys are just too “babyish” for my older child.

My oldest, Jake, is convinced he wants to be a quarterback (YAY for my early retirement!) and everyone else is convinced Joshua, my youngest, is going to be a defensive back so our toy box is just full of balls.

We have baseballs, footballs and basketballs.  We throw, we catch, we break nails – oh, wait, that’s just me.

Joshua wants to be just like his older brother.  It’s sometimes frustrating for him when Jake wants to throw a ball and Josh can’t grasp it properly to throw back.  Enter Rhino Toys. Continue Reading For More OnRhino Toys

Save Money With Tide Coldwater and WIN A YEARS SUPPLY! CLOSED

#51 Tide

tide-coldwater

I don’t even know where to start.  I’ve always been a fan of Tide.  I’ve tried every other detergent and have felt that it was one of the absolute best products on the market.  I love that they have coupons available and find it reasonably priced, and I’m a frugal grocery shopper.

I was introduced to Tide Coldwater a few weeks ago and was very excited to test it out.  My favorite thing to wash is my sheets.  There is nothing better than fresh sheets out of the dryer.  I always washed my clothes on cold anyway but I wasn’t sure if they were getting the right kind of clean.  I honestly don’t know much about laundry.  I don’t separate colors and whites and figure if I wash them on cold, they hopefully won’t shrink.
