Kushyfoot Rocks My World

I’m going to start off by saying I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into when I opened a packaged for me to review filled with various Kushyfoot products. I saw all kinds of different things to try out, given I was sent a variety of items to try ranging from Flats-to-go,tights, trouser socks to yoga socks and more.

These are perfect for me for two reasons.  One, I’m a klutz and two, I like to dress up when I go out.

The first part I can actually backdate about two weeks ago to where I was walking through a store and my flip flop broke as I was halfway through the store. Looking back, I realize I could have just bought a new pair while I was there but I didn’t.  I shuffled my foot across the store until I got to checkout and then I took both flops off and walked to my car barefoot across the parking lot.

Not my best day. (more…)

Girls Become Designers at FashionPlaytes.com

FashionPlaytes

I never was blessed with a daughter, but am very grateful for my two rambunctious little boys.  It doesn’t mean I’m not a sucker for glitter and dresses, so when FashionPlaytes asked me if I was interested in checking out their new virtual design studio that empowers girls ages 6-12 to design and produce their very own clothing, I immediately thought of my fantastic friend Julie (I know, ironic we share the same name.  That’s why we’re so fabulous.) and her daughter Emily, I had to join in on the fun. The online platform let’s girls “play designer” and use their creativity to create custom clothes and accessories (complete with personalized labels!) that are delivered to their doorstep in just 3 weeks.

Once Emily was introduced to FashionPlaytes and shown the basic tips on how to operate the website and at just five years old, she went off on her own for hours, playing with different designs and creations to see the sparkles and designs she could make.  When it came time for Emily to actually decide what she’d like delivered to her door, she had her dress designed in just ten minutes. Playful Threads – Couldn’t Describe It Better

So I was given an interesting opportunity recently and since I am an interesting girl, I decided to check it out.  This isn’t the type of review I’ve ever done before but I really am glad I chose to accept this one.  There’s a website, Playful Threads, that could not be named better.  The threads on this site are indeed playful.

This is one sexy, sexy website.  My first thoughts when I took a look were “Oh, my!” quickly followed by an “Oh, my…” (if you know that I mean.  The concept of Playful Threads is to provide women with sexy gear – from stunning  jewelry, sexy dresses, sexy swimsuits – sexy EVERYTHING.

Playful Threads is also intent on providing you with excellent customer service and will arrive to your home in discreet packaging with unmarked, plain packaging.

Now, since I have family who read my websites, I could exactly pick out the saucy stuff to show you, because I believe that if I review a clothing or accessory, I need to show myself in that item for the review.  Therefore, I chose from the jewelery section.  Let’s take a look at the lovely earrings I chose to get!

Hot, right?  I was always terrified to get my ears pierced but my sister finally forced me into it about four years ago so I don’t own many pairs.  I love these and feel that they’re versatile enough to wear both formally and casually.  Reasonably priced and shipped quickly, I’m excited to wear them out when I head to NY for my vacation later today!

Another exciting aspect of this company is that they have a blog, written by the Queen of Lingerie, talking about “all things soft, sweet and sexy.”

While I was browsing the website, it actually reminded me of my weight loss after having my second child.  Picking out a product from Playful Threads would have been a saucy way for me to show off my new, slimmer body and help to (hopefully) raise my confidence.

If you’re looking for a hot swimsuit or sexy dress for a club, Playful Threads is the website to visit.  The beauty of this site is that it doesn’t just cater to the weight loss I just bragged about, they also have a section for Plus Size ladies to explore.

I know this isn’t the type of website or apparel for everyone, but sometimes it’s good to take a walk on the wild side and see what good it may do.  To spice up your relationship or just make you feel great, you really never know how you’re going to feel unless you try it!  If you do, the time is now, because Playful Threads is currently offering a Free Shipping code: FREEMP  so head on over and take a chance.  Even if you don’t want the lingerie, check out the jewelry, it’s fantastic!

Momspective Reviews Comfort Pocket Shorts

From the company:
We have created a comfortable alternative to the EA SPORTS Active™ Standard Leg Strap. The wonderful seamstress “YOUSEWGIRL” and I have added a durable stretchy pocket to a pair of spandex compression shorts. I have exercised with EA SPORTS Active™ in blissful comfort ever since. The stretchy pocket holds the nunchuck in the same position the standard leg strap would. You get to keep all the functionality of EA SPORTS Active™ and gain many times the comfort.

Cover Your Hair! REVIEW & INTERNATIONAL GIVEAWAY!

Okay, I’m not necessarily a hat person but I travel to Syracuse, NY ALL THE TIME.  If any of you are familiar with that city you know it’s pretty much the Arctic.  When I travel up there, I’m always just freezing my butt off and all that’s available for warmth and protection are those pull down regular old plain hats that somehow give your static when you take them off.

When I was asked to review an item from CoverYourHair.com, I couldn’t believe all of the options I had to choose from.  There’s no way I could list the inventory.  They have hats, belts, headbands…it just never ends!

I have pretty short hair and couldn’t figure out what I was looking for and then I realized with this operation I’m having, doing my hair is doubtful and at the end of April, I plan on returning to NY so my family can visit my kids.  I travel there every two months so they don’t miss out on the drastic changes at ages 5 & 2 and after August, my oldest will be in Kindergarten so those trips will be limited, and they’ll most likely occur when it’s cold, which is all the time.  (more…)
