Once Again, First Impressions Baby Apparel Came Through For Me

I love Macy’s.  They have the BEST baby gifts ever.  If you’re looking for a layette, you can’t beat First Impressions.   Six years ago, I found out I was pregnant with my first son.  Once announced, people kept telling me I had to register for a layette set.  I had absolutely NO IDEA what that meant.  Even though I was married and 27, I was one of the first to get pregnant out of all my friends, so layette’s weren’t exactly something we talked about regularly.

Well then the months passed and I got to do the baby registry thing and I was happily zapping away.  THAT was when I learned what a layette was.

According to First Impressions,  a layette is made up of all the soft pieces your newborn needs for his or her fist days and weeks.  These include: (more…)

Qlubb- connect, share and get stuff done

qulbb

How many of you find yourself setting up a play date or blog task and completely forgetting what it is?  I spent all last week thinking it was a week before what it actually was.  I thought I had a week to promote the Wii Fit Mommies Forum Hunt, when in fact I had to actually START the Forum Hunt!

I was then introduced to Qlubb, the Mom-focused website that enables you to form your ‘Qlubb’ and share it with your family and friends.  I created the Cool Mom Guide Qlubb (naturally lol) and sent invites to my friends in the Wii Fit Mommies Forum, inviting them to join up to keep current on my website activities.  Password to join is ‘wiimoms’.

Since I run 3 blogs, I have a lot of different things happening.  I just ended a giveaway on this site, have one going on the Cool Mom Guide and am running a 5 day long Contest on the Cool Mom Guide to Fitness with the Wii Fit Mommies right now!

Next week, we’ll be announcing details for the upcoming Twitter Party on 2/13 and I’m headed to Blissdom 2/6 and want to know who’s coming with me.  All of this activity is hard to keep track of but now with Qlubb, my wonderful readers can log in and see my calendar to stay up to date on all the wonderful events and contests I have going on.

If you have a busy family schedule or blog of your own, Qlubb is the place for you.  You can start one just for your family and schedule who has soccer when and plan the family vacation, having one location for everyone to visit online to keep track of what’s going on.

You, too, can create your blog event calendar.  Invite me to join, I follow and read up on so many different blogs that I often can’t keep everything straight and would love to have a place to refer to so I know what ends (or starts) when.

Thanks so much to Team Mom for introducing me, and please join the Cool Mom Guide Qlubb to stay up to date on all my happy happenings!

Momspective Goes Green Reviews ecostore USA Baby Soap

untitled-1-copy

Mmmmm…..this soap smells SO GOOD.  I love it!  It’s light and fresh, almost like a very light lemon scent.  Made with plant based, all natural ingredients, this Goat’s Milk Chamomile and Lavender Baby Soap is heaven.  I have to admit, I use this on myself in the shower!

Soap typically dries out my skin, but this had a great lather and really rinsed away clean.  It made me feel squeaky clean and I smelled great.  From the site-

Momspective Goes Green Video Review-ecostore USA Baby Lotion

untitled-1-copy

ecostore-usa_01

Today, I’m doing a quick (probably poorly edited) video review with my Flip Camera of the ecostore USA Baby Lotion.  I swear, it sounds like my 9 month old answered ‘I did’ when I asked him if he liked it!

You can see from the video that it goes on smoothly and leaves no sticky residue.  My son smelled great and his skin was glowing with good health!  He is prone to eczema so I want to be sure the lotion I use on him is the best it could possibly be.

Make sure to check out the ecostore USA 7 piece baby care line giveaway!  Check out THIS POST for details!

untitled-1-copy

For my second review in my Cool Mom Guide Goes Green Review series and giveaway, I’ll be taking a look at the ecostore USA Baby Sleepytime Aromatherapy for the Bath water.

babysleepytimebathproduct1

A few days ago, the kids were running wild. We had play-dates and games and by the time bedtime came around, they were both too wound up to relax for bed. When it came time for their bath, I decided to give the ecostore USA Aromatherapy Sleepytime Bath a try. (more…)
