Barnes and Noble And The Box Tops Marketplace

There are many ways to raise funds through ongoing fundraising programs; one of the most popular and easiest for school fund-raising groups to use is the “Box Tops for Education†program offered by the General Mills Company.
Box Tops for Education has contributed over $300 million to participating schools since the launch of the program in 1996.
The Box Tops Marketplace allows you to earn cash for your school when you shop online. Start at the Box Tops Marketplace at boxtops4education.com. Click on the link to any one of the more than 70 favorite online stores; you’ll be automatically sent to that store’s web site. Shop and check out as you normally would and a portion of your qualifying purchase is donated to your school.
Give Back Without Spending Extra: The Marketplace includes leading brands like Dell, Victoria’s Secret, Target, Best Buy—you name it. Simply join BTFE.com and choose a school to support. When you start your shopping trips through the Marketplace, a percentage of your purchases automatically goes directly to your school!
Shop for your Teachers: Looking for the perfect way to make your kids’ teacher smile this holiday? Find out if they have a My Class Essentials registry and shop for the classroom supplies they really need. All December long we’re offering FREE shipping on orders more than $10! Plus, 2 percent of each purchase goes back to your school.
Deals and Discounts: Who doesn’t love them? We’ve partnered with more than 100 of your favorite stores to bring you new offers almost every day. Check out our Deals and Discounts Page or follow us on Twitter to receive a daily update.
I keep my shopping strictly online, with the exception of grocery shopping and I was thrilled when Box Tops For Education sent me a gift card to try online and it was really neat. I just registered online, chose my local school and started shopping. There are tons of stores and those stores have tons of products. As stated above, you can also see what deals are available anytime so let’s support our schools and start shopping!

There’s some cognitive dissonance in seeing Box Tops for Education – once mostly on kids’ cereal boxes – atop containers of Kotex tampons.
