“365 Energy Boosters” Review and Giveaway *CLOSED*
365 Energy Boosters
Juice Up Your Life, Thump Your Thymus, Wiggle as Much as Possible, Rev Up with Red, Brush Your Body, Do a Spinal Rock, Pop a Pumpkin Seed
If you’re anything like me, the drain of winter is really dragging you down. From the cold fronts bringing sickness to the short days draining your energy, everyone I know is down in the dumps lately, me included.
Red Wheel/Weiser recently gave me a copy of 365 Energy Boosters for me to read and have also offered a giveaway for all my readers worldwide! In this compact 365 page book, you’ll find a different tip for everyday success.
From Red Wheel/Weiser-
Are you S.A.D.? (Suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder.) Are you one of the listless denizens sleepwalking your way through the day? Are you tired of being tired? Life demands more energy every day as we heap enough tasks on our “to do” lists to fill every waking hour and put untold amounts of pressure on ourselves to perform, to keep a spotless home, and to have the perfect relationship, the most well-behaved kids, and the best job. The constant need to be productive is wearing us out, physically and emotionally.
In 365 Energy Boosters, Susannah Seton and Sondra Kornblatt provide us with a daily guide for putting an end to the madness, embracing a new and improved life experience, and getting a big dose of energy to boot. You’ll find energizing one-minute exercises and foods for a quick pick-me-up and learn ways to track your natural energy cycles, get organized, sleep better, and wake yourself up whenever your energy takes a nosedive. Other simple tips for revitalizing include:
Indulge in downtime without guilt.
Do the Twist.
Stop paying attention.
Share your desk with a plant.
Hum.
Stretch your toes.
Yank your ears.
Cry, baby.Seton and Kornblatt also encourage us to make other deep-rooted changes like setting boundaries and banishing the “energy vampires” that zap us, allowing time and space for a more positive and energized life experience.
Everyone can benefit from this book. It’s time to stop being tired!

I would love to win this book because at times I feel like I do not have enough energy to keep up with my two kids, 2 years old and 5 months. My problem is lack of sleep. I try to go to bed at a descent time, I just don’t sleep well.

Having Lupus is draining in and of itself; can’t sleep, lack of energy, forced, compelled, and feel obligated to do household chores, etc. even when sick; muscle aches and winter weather does not help. Need all the help I can get to combat fatigue and put the spring back in my step aka before Lupus.

Sounds like a really interesting book! I have been having a lot of health problems – pain and trouble sleeping due to it then not having any energy because I’m not sleeping – vicious cycle!!
