Okay so my baby making days are over since I lack the reproductive organs necessary but it seems that every time Macy’s contacts me to do a review and/or giveaway for their First Impressions gift sets I have a friend or relative who is about to or just had a baby.

This time around it was my next door neighbor and I scored BIG TIME when I showed up at the baby shower with this awesome trio.  She’s having a boy and instead of getting her a newborn gift set, I opted for a 3-6 month set because I know she has tons of new baby apparel and I just thought this was as cute as can be.

MOM: Oh, we love it here!  We wanted to come anyway!  There’s no need for a gift (…gift is being unwrapped and *GASP!*) OH, JULIE!  Look at this!  Wow!  Would you look at this?  It’s BEAUTIFUL!  How did you do that?!  It’s BEAUTIFUL!  Oh, Al!  Look at this!  Isn’t it beautiful? (He agrees) It’s just great, I LOVE IT.  Boys, look at this!  Who is this?  It’s Jacob and Joshua!  That’s right!  It’s you!  Look how handsome my boys are!  What a wonderful picture!

Okay, THIS is a great choice for Christmas this year.

I’ve been told I have a lot of energy that needs to be released and I’m seriously grateful for the Nintendo Wii for allowing me to do so.  Not only have I gotten myself down to a size six (I went to four, six suits mebest), but I get to play fun games with my kids (ages five and two) and use up my energy.

This is absolutely the perfect time of the year to start gaming.  With the weather turning, we have to find ways to stay active with out family indoors.  FlingSmash friggin’ ROCKS.  It reminds me of Mario because you get to pop through blocks but you’re not using the controllers to do it.  You get to whip your Wiimote around like a tennis racket (PLEASE SECURE YOUR WRIST STRAP).  It’s powered by the Wii Motion Plus, so you get to feel it as you play it (that sounded dirty lol).

You also want to make sure you don’t have small children within arms reach and you don’t want your kid to play with anyone in the room because you’re going to get smacked if you do.  Kids have a tendency to move around as they flail their arms about and if you’re not paying attention you could get nailed. That’s it right there.  That’s what I just ate.  Yep.  I just had my tonsils out but they’re small squares – smaller than the picture above.  I can’t eat solids but I can suck on gourmet chocolate mint candy all I want.

And I did.

And I still am.

This is how last night went -

Elaina comes home and I had just finished having cold scrambled eggs as my dinner (remember – recovering from a throat/sinus operation here.  No hot foods or solids) and she and I are in my bed just doing girly stuff (talking about personal matters that I never address on my blogs because there is only one thing I keep personal, that wee little thing they call a “personal life” and I won’t tell hers either) and suddenly I interrupt her (I do that a lot, I adore her for her patience) and I say, “Do you want chocolate?  Fanny May sent me chocolates to review.”

“Hell yeah I want chocolate!”

I sprint up out of bed and run downstairs trying to remember where I hid them.  I think it took me about five minutes checking all my “favorite item hiding places” and then I saw it hidden under printer paper.  I run upstairs and rip the gold wrapping paper off and unveil this – (more…)

Finally, a doll that can transform with your mood.  I was recently asked to review some plush, cuddily new dolls that were uber cute and squishy when you first looked at them but the second you felt a hint of rage, all you have to do is shove your hand right up it’s ass and pull out a doll of fury, armed and ready to stand by you and stare at people angrily as they walk by.

What’s even better is that my goodie bag for review came with a door hanger that came with a “I’m cool I won’t kill you” side and another “Enter he and ye shall ne’er return” or some shit (It’s late and I have no motivation to go check it).  That sign alone had my five year old stoked.

Once I explained the concept of the door holder, he decided to let the world know he was ready to play.  I assumed he wanted it for his bedroom but he put it on the main door to the house.  Following that, we each took various pets and shoved our hands in their smiling little asses to make them into seriously pissed off pets.  Couldn’t blame them, look where I just put my hand!
