So a while back I was writing about getting excited about Jacob heading to Kindergarten and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. He has his new clothes, new school supplies and his super cool lunch box.  He gets dropped off in the morning and feels like a big kid at the end of the day because he and his “best bud” get to sit in the very first seat on the bus together.

Yep.  That’s me.  Back in February, I had the honor of heading down to Miami to meet some of the NFL players and test out the new line that Gatorade has to help athletes perform better and stay hydrated.  That right there is a picture of me with NY Jets left tackle  D’Brickashaw Ferguson after we participated in the Gatorade GSSI testing.  As a fitness enthusiast and NFL lover, the GSSI testing was a perfect fit for me.

We’re getting so old.  Yep. We.  I refuse to say I am because every time I do someone tells me how young I am compared to them so I’m telling you all.  WE ARE GETTING SO OLD.

Remember when we were kids and nothing hurt?  Nothing.  I have scars and remember falls from years ago and just didn’t care.  It’d heal.

Then I got older.

Not sure how many of you know this, but I had a breast reduction a few years ago.  My tiny frame held a 36I cup bra.  That’s right – six D’s.

I’ve since had them taken down to a C+/D- but because of the weight and strain they put on me for all those years, I’ll always have shoulder and neck pain.  I’ve bought heating pads, tried various creams and pain a ton of money on massages that half the time left me in even more pain because my session would end just when they were hitting the right spot.

*Sigh*  School started! Yay! *sniff*  I’m so happy my baby boy has started Kindergarten! *wah*  We’ve been waiting for this day for so long, we’re all so excited!

Who do I think I’m kidding?  My BABY just started school!  My Baby! Now he’s going to grow up and leave me.  He’s going to leave me alone and find a cooler place to stay and meet someone and probably move out of state and I’ll stalk him so I can see my grand-babies. His new life started today!

Well, so in sunny South Carolina in the town of Fort Mill, school has started.  I have two boys, ages five and two and even though they’re both used to “Mother’s Morning Out” programs and summer camps (daycare lol) and whatnot, Kindergarten is huge.  Fur everybody. (more…)
