Peter Rabbit Organic Fruit Pouches

Peter Rabbit Organics LogoPeter Rabbit Organics - family shot (Low Res)

I was blog surfing a few weeks ago and while at one of my favorite blogs, I noticed they wrote a stellar review on the Peter Rabbit Organic Fruit Puree pouches.  I left her a comment about how I thought that it’d be perfect for me and lucky for me, I was contacted by the company itself to try them for myself!

About a week later, a few pouches of the various flavored organic fruit pouches arrived at my door.  They lasted all of about 5 minutes because both of my children AND my husband tore right into them.

I don’t allow juices and candy in my house (unless I’m hormonal but then I don’t share).  My children consider a breakfast bar to be a “candy bar” and drink water instead of juice.  They have plenty of fruit, though, and while these organic pouches aren’t a drink, they are a tasty treat when chilled. Hot Wheels Color Shifters

Hot Wheels Color Shifters

I have two very stinky, VERY active little boys and they love cars.  All kinds of cars.  Big ones, little ones, LOUD ones, you name it.  When Hot Wheels asked if I’d like to check out the new Hot Wheels Color Shifters, I couldn’t pass it up.  These cool cars go from street car to race car instantly by putting them in hot or cold water.

The package has a “simulation” pull out tab that happened to keep my one year old occupied for a solid twenty minutes and even though this product is recommended for ages 3 and up, the kid just loves hot wheels.

My four year old plays with them every single day.  It’s gotten to where Jake can’t wait to get in his bath each night, because we have the warm bath water and give him a cup of ice water to play with.  It keeps the potential splashy mess a kid might make in the tub. (more…)

Violet Love Headbands

kokomoI”m always having a hard time with headbands.  I want to be able to wear my hair back and look all cute like the celebrities do, but headbands always give me a headache or slide off my head.  When I was offered a review from Chic Execs to test out the colorful line of headwear from Violet Love, I figured it was worth a shot.

I have to say, these headbands are really comfortable!  I was having a particularily bad hair day on Saturday and I just didn’t know what to do with myself.  I saw the vibrant colors in the headband and paired it with a cute yellow polo and was really impressed that it was weightless in my hair.  It didn’t stretch or pull and since it’s tinner in the back, it wasn’t bulky and didn’t make my hair stick up.  (more…)

Wii Pirates vs. Ninja Dodgeball Game Preview

I am so excited to be able to try the new game from SouthPeak Games, Pirates versus Ninjas! I haven’t gotten it yet but I will be soon and I was checking out the SouthPeak Games website and read this great summary on the game-

Pit scurvy against stealth and cutlass against katana in the ultimate playground sport of dodgeball. Perform powerful special moves and melee attacks to eliminate your opponents. Choose your team and take them through a unique story mode or team up with or against your friends in dodgeball mayhem!

Pirates versus Ninjas is a social phenomenon; starting in online chatrooms and forums and growing to become a topic that everyone under 35 is aware of. It’s a joke that has spawned online communities, Facebook applications and countless websites devoted to the subject. Finally, the phenomenon has become a video game, allowing millions of people all over the world to settle the debate once and for all. (more…)

Boom Blox Bash Party for the Nintendo Wii

boom-blox-bash-party

I just got back from a quick vacation in Kansas to visit some friends and I realized something.  I LOVE VIDEO GAMES.

I LOVE video games.  I can admit that.  Love them.  My latest addiction is Boom Blox Bash Party given to me by the WONDERFUL people at EA.

Boom Blox Bash Party is the second “smash” hit (I had to) from EA and Steven Spielberg, after the hugely successful Boom Blox (reviewed it HERE). (more…)
